Here is a list of the charities for the Mark and Brian Santa KLOS Shopping Spree:
Maybe you could take the gas, food, lodging, etc. money you would have spent to go to a Christmas Show to help a family have a happy holiday. The Boys and KLOS are supporting the following organizations:
St. Barnabas Senior Center (saintb-la.org)
If you are looking for a charity to support, those listed above can use your help!

The concept is a train-wreck, but...
Want to see all the pics sent in by one of the biggest M&B fans I've ever met in person?
Every time I got to go to an M&B event, I see this one guy (who has yet to tell me his name) who is way cool and way into M&B. He went and took pictures at 2 Strangers and a Wedding. The photos can be seen at my PhotoBucket site:

Trying to edit

I think I'm finally able to edit and update!
Dang ISP has made changes and I have been prevented from updating and editing since way back in March! :(
It's time to redesign this site again!
Seems like everyone is moving to a Blog or Myspace style of format. I may follow suit, but am still not sure. At least I'll be able to make the site work again!

People!!!

I get e-mail, and I love you for it! But...
...I wonder if people realize this is a fan site and not the Official Mark and Brian site. I have no pictures, videos, or anything else from the Two Strangers and a Wedding gig. Thanks for the requests for them. If you took some, I would love to host them.
Upon checking the boy's site, it looks like the server is SOOOOO busy that connections by the server are being refused because it cannot handle all the traffic! Wow!!! Keep checking back there and, eventually, you will get to see what is happening.

Portland show reviews
"I went to the Portland show, but unfortunately had to leave early due to all of the Pot smoke, and a couple of idiots that were more interested in my wife than the show itself, I thought it better to leave early on my own accord, than leaving Cuffed and Stuffed, The first 1-1/2 hrs was AWESOME, Very disappointed, we couldn't stay longer and I don't know if I should contact M&B to whine so I have not, don't want to give a bad review on the air, If I had known it would end that way, I would never put my Wife an I in that position, Great site by the way, I will visit more often, Be a good Human, and again, GREAT SITE."

Hey Bryan.. been kinda outta the loop for a while... I was lucky enough to get tix to the show .. great fun... I was even pulled up on stage to be a prop for the Zuchinni Brothers juggling act... Both bands were awesome.. The Siners Club opened.. I guess they are local and Hot For Teacher did a great job..... after the boys left they played on for almost an hour... Take care.

If you went to see M&B in Portland, e-mail me!
I would love to post a review and pictures, if any, from the event. Couldn't get a pair of tix from KGON...just not a fast enough dialer!
Two Strangers have a Wedding soon!
Be listening this Friday to see if they go through with it.

I Can't Believe it! |

I'm once again able to edit/update MnB.net!
You cannot believe how FRUSTRATED and disappointed I've been for what has been almost a year! For some reason, I have not been able to connect and update anything. My guess is it is because I had too much content and, after deleting a LOT of MP3s, I'm able to update the site once more.
Maybe I'll have to post "MP3's of the Month" or some such and rotate content on and off the web-site.
Two Strangers and a Wedding
Well, I wanted to give my two-cents worth on this. On one hand, it is fun listening to M&B interview people. On the other, I'm just not engaged in it and cannot wait until it is over.
Christmas Show 2005
This was a VERY fun and exciting show for me! It was great hanging with Rudy from Rare Footage Vault and going to the show. Got nice pictures and was able to record the show. Go to the Rare Footage Vault for MP3s of the show.

KGON Returns to Streaming!
92.3 KGON-FM is once again streaming their programming, commercial-free, to the Internet. (In place of commercials, you get soothing elevator music!) If you moved to an area without M&B; register, sit-back, and enjoy!
5th Annual Golf Tournament is a big success!
Check out the photos of M&B and all the celebrities who participated in this year's event.

Listener comes through with song!
This was one of the funniest listener produced things I have ever heard! "Lovely Preva Needs a Shave" is now part of the audio section.

Xmas Show! |

Officer George Quarterman Holiday Greeting!
Click here! The 2004 Christmas Show Pictures and more!

WOW! This was THE BEST Christmas Show I've seen! So that I could operate my camera without worrying about security taking it like they did one year (heh), Rudy and I sat in the pit with our backs against this divider wall. It effectively blocked me from their view so I could take some video as well as still pictures. (That is the good new! The bad is the low-res mode really blows! lol)

Help Support Spencer's Treasures and
Operation Reel, Rock'n Roll
This year 95.5 KLOS is asking for your help in making a donation to the charities we are trying to help.
Spencer's Treasures is a public benefit, non-profit corporation founded by Ron and Teresa Stockton in memory of their son, Spencer, who died of a brian tumor in February 2000. The mission of Spencer's Treasurers is to place wooden Treasure Chests full of small-hand toys in special needs facilities and hospitals for children with life-threating illness of for those under special care. These treatures (toys) are to reward the patients for enduring the routine appointments and everyday challenges of a life-threatening illness. Please join 95.5 KLOS and The Mark & Brian Radio Program in their support of this very worthwhile cause by bringing a new toy with you when you come to the Mark & Brian Christmas Show. The ideal toy is a new hand-sized toy that is easily picked out and carried by a child. Kid's meal type toys are perfect!
Operation Reel, Rock'n Roll - There's a classic holiday song we're all familar with, "I'll Be Home For Christmas", which is true for most of us, but for our Marines stationed in Iraq, home is in their dreams. In order to bring home a little closer, KLOS has launched Operation Reel, Rock'n Roll and wants you to give the gift of movies and music by donating new or used DVD's or CD's to those serving in Iraq. Operation Reel Rock'n Roll's goal is to send 2000 DVD's and CD's to our troops and to make this happen... WE NEED YOU! This is a team effort. Already on board is Panasonic, with a donation of 500 personal CD players and 15 DVD players, plus a donation of a Panasonic 42" plasma big screen to the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital. Please no "adult" DVD's.
Please bring either or both donations to the Christmas Show. Volunteers from both charities will be available to collect your donations.
